It seems that David J. Doyaga was destined to practice law in the City of New York and build a successful practice by representing New Yorkers. Born in Brooklyn, he was raised by his mother in the Fort Greene section. Applying the strong work ethic instilled by his parents, he succeeded at all levels of his education from New York City Public schools, to Brooklyn College to ultimately New York Law where he served as an editor of the Law Review, and received his J.D. in 1980 with honors.

Throughout his professional life Patrick K. Schaefer has learned an appreciation of the simple truth: Every problem is intertwined with the life of a real person. A person with hopes & dreams. A person with fears & doubts. Any effort must solve the problem and serve the person. Pat now spends his professional life finding solutions to financial problems while preserving the dignity of his clients. He enjoys coming to work everyday because he knows he and his staff improve the lives of real people.
